Over his first three seasons, the Columbus, Texas, native has guided the Jaguars to a 136-78 record, three NAIA Opening Round appearances and two RRAC championships in 2023 and 2026. He led the Jaguars to their first-ever ranking in the NAIA Coaches Poll in 2025 before climbing as high as No. 8 in 2026. He was named RRAC Coach of the Year in 2026.
A&M-Victoria has had 34 All-Conference selections in Stavinoha's first four seasons with the program. Stavinoha also coached 2025 MLB Draft Pick Brady Parker, who was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 12th round.
Stavinoha was previously the associate head baseball coach/recruiting coordinator at Texas A&M University-Texarkana since 2017. While at TAMUT, the Eagles achieved an overall record of 143-104 while making it to the postseason each year. The Eagles finished the 2018 season with 35 wins, marking the most in program history. Stavinoha has helped coach 28 athletes selected to various All-RRAC teams, including an NAIA Gold Glove Award winner in 2019.
Prior to A&M-Texarkana, Stavinoha was an Assistant Coach for his alma matter at New Mexico Highlands University (NCAA Div. II) from 2014-2016. While coaching for the Cowboys, he achieved his master’s degree in Human Performance and Sport-Teacher Education.
Stavinoha was born and raised in Columbus where he was a multi-sport athlete in high school and played shortstop for the Cardinals. He and his wife Ashlee have two kids, a daughter, Blaklee, and a son, Laddik.
