Men’s soccer land three All-RRAC selections, two on second team
WACO – On Friday, the Red River Athletic Conference revealed its 2025 All-Conference selection with three Texas A&M University-Victoria players earning recognition.
The Jaguars had two second team selections and a representative of the RRAC Champions of Character team.
Juniors Mosiah Bonney and Jervan Matthew were honored on the All-RRAC second team while freshman Sheik Bah was honored as A&M-Victoria's Champion of Character.
Bonney earned the second team honor after being one of the most reliable defenders in the conference, making 17 starts and limiting opponents to 1.63 goals per game (5th RRAC) and 10.7 shots per game while posting four shutouts. The Cochrane, Dominica, native also added two goals, including the goal that sent the Jaguars to the RRAC Tournament for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons, and two assists from his defensive position.
Matthew, also from Cochrane, Dominica, led the attack for the Jaguars in 2025, scoring a team-leading eight goals with three assists. He had two multi-goal games for the Jaguars against Dallas Christian and University of the Southwest.
Bah was A&M-Victoria's Champion of Character selection for his commitment to the CoC's five core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship. The freshman from Freetown, Sierra Leone, made 18 appearances in his first year at A&M-Victoria with each of his nine starts coming in the last nine matches.
The Jaguars finished the year 8-9-2 overall after reaching the RRAC Tournament.
