Bickelmann posts Top 10 finish, Women’s Golf finishes 4th at Claud Jacobs Invitational
Emmily Bickelmann once again set the pace for the UHV women's golf team.
The senior from Weisbaden, Germany, finished eighth at UHV's Claud Jacobs Invitational at The Club at Colony Creek after shooting rounds of 79-75—154 (+10). It's the third Top 10 finish this season for Bickelmann, who carded three birdies between the two rounds.
That performance helped set the pace for the Jaguars, which finished fourth (330-330—360) at the tournament.
Madeline Pate had a strong showing to start the spring, finishing T-11 (79-80—159) and also carding a trio of birdies through two rounds. Evelyn Nguyen was also in the Top 20, finishing 19th (84-86—170).
Kaitlin Lopez and Remme Trujillo, competing as an individual, shared 24th after a two-round score of 177. Laney Glass, also competing as an individual, was 26th (178) while Reese Trujillo was 27th (186).
The Jaguars are set to compete in the Schreiner Shoot-Out March 3-4 in Kerrville.
