The UHV women's soccer team will look for its first road victory when it heads to University of the Southwest on Thursday.
The Jaguars (4-2-4, 2-1-2) drew 1-1 with Jarvis Christian on Monday in a game that was suspended over two weeks. UHV had picked up an 8-1 win over Huston-Tillotson on Saturday before that.
UHV will look to keep its offense going against the Mustangs (2-5-2, 1-4-1). The Jaguars have scored a goal in eight of their nine matches played this season.
Freshman forward Kaydee Cox scored a hat trick against Huston-Tillotson, improving her season tally to five goals, which leads the team.
Trine Stenderup-Jorgensen netted a pair of goals, her first of the year, against the Rams on Saturday, becoming the 11th different Jaguar to score a goal this season.
Estelle Flanagan scored her third goal this season to tie the game against Jarvis Christian.
Southwest has allowed 19 goals in nine matches this season, the fourth-most in the Red River Athletic Conference.
The Jaguars defense has posted three shutouts this year, which ranks sixth in the conference.
