The Texas A&M University–Victoria's women's golfers showed steady improvement in the final round of the Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational presented by Edward Jones–French Wealth Management and Discover Victoria, with all three Jaguars lowering their scores on day two at Victoria Country Club.
Leading the way was Madeline Pate, who finished T-5 to record her fourth career top-10 and third career top-five finish. Pate posted rounds of 82 and 80 for a two-day total of 162 (+18). In the second round, she trimmed two strokes off her opening score and settled into a more consistent rhythm, carding two birdies. Lopez shot an opening-round 92, but responded with an 84 (+12) on day two, an eight-stroke improvement.
