The Texas A&M University-Victoria men's soccer team fell to LSU Alexandria on Thursday at The Cage.
The Jaguars (7-7-1, 3-4-1) dropped a 3-0 decision to the Generals.
Felipe Rangel, Yahir Pena, Jervan Matthew, Josh Loveridge and Chris Mendez had the five shots for A&M-Victoria.
Seniors Tyler Kaeppeli and Eric Thust split the game in goal. Kaeppeli made three saves in the first half while Thust made two in the second half.
LSU Alexandria opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a goal from Ben McCarron and an own goal put the Generals up 2-0 at the break. Diego Cabadon scored the third goal in the 51st minute.
The Jaguars go on the road Thursday for the first iteration of the newly minted rivalry series The Battle of the Big Cats against Texas A&M-San Antonio.
